The Money Mechanics Project

Money Management for vision impaired young people

The RSBC is collaborating with MyBnk and The Royal Association for Deaf People on a project known as Money Mechanics, which will become the UK’s first dedicated money management education programme for young people with sensory impairments. The idea of the project is to help young disabled people overcome the barriers to accessing money and learn the skills to take control of their own finances.

In order to ensure our course can be the best it can be, we want to hear from the parents of vision impaired young people about the difficulties your child can face when controlling their money. Do you have any concerns about your child controlling their own cash when they are older? Do you feel that banking systems are accessible enough for your child at the moment?

Let us know by filling in our quick survey.
