We are delighted that RSBC has been shortlisted by the Royal Veterinary College to receive a share of the commission from their annual merchandise sale.
From Monday 13th March until Monday 27th March, Royal Veterinary College students will be able to vote for one charity from each category; local, national and animal to receive the commission on the sale of t-shirts, hoodies and other merchandise. The commission from this sale will be split equally between all three charities. RSBC has been listed in the National category. If you’re a Royal Veterinary College student or know someone who is studying there, please vote for RSBC and help blind children live life without limits.
By voting for RSBC you will be supporting our Family Support Service that can be on hand from the moment parents hear the news of a sight loss diagnosis to offer practical advice and emotional support so families understand sight loss and build the self-belief that their family can live beyond it. Your fundraising could enable specialist staff to work with parents, helping them to develop and adjust their parenting skills to encourage their children to learn about the world around them, how to communicate and how to be confident in trying new things. Supporting children to feel comfortable about their surroundings, learning to move around, talking and playing with other children and expressing themselves, is fundamental to a fulfilling and positive life.
If you are a Royal Veterinary College student and want to help blind children live life without limits please vote for RSBC. Unsure how to vote? For instructions please contact your current RAG officer Christina Paish on email@example.com. We are so pleased that we are working with the Royal Veterinary College. RAG officer Christina Paish has been so helpful and we look forward to the possibility of working with the newly elected 2017/18 RAG officer, Hayley Edwards.
If you would like more information about how you can support blind children in your area and or through your university please email Emma Ernesto at firstname.lastname@example.org and she will be in touch to discuss your ideas and the endless support we offer.
