RLSB merges with B.I.G.

In January 2017, RSBC merged with the Royal London Society for Blind People (RLSB). Although we are now called RSBC, there may be some references to RLSB in the following article.

The partnership will see services expand and increase to support partially sighted people to lead fuller, more independent lives. These services include practical day-to-day advice and help, such as Visual Awareness Training, as well as social activities and befriending. We recently ran a successful Healthy Eating Programme set up under the partnership.

B.I.G is a charity that exists to help local people with little or no sight in Greenwich, including Blackheath, Kidbrooke, Charlton, Woolwich, Eltham, New Eltham, Plumstead, Abbey Wood and West Thamesmead. It also works with low income families who need additional help accessing welfare rights and benefits.
