Tingle app: dating personalities not selfies

A new dating app concept that focuses on personalities, not selfies, was one of the outcomes of RSBC's hackathon to tackle common challenges faced by blind young people. The winners were Team Tingle, who came up with an inclusive dating app that allows users to find their love match by sending out six-second voice clips to each other.

London Without Limits

RSBC's London Without Limits festival featured a range of surprising, sensory and sociable blindfolded dining, music, wine tasting and family events to highlight the often difficult reality of being blind and young in London.

RSBC are working with parkrun to help people with a vision impairment get active, make new friends and enjoy the outdoors. parkrun is a series of 5k runs held on Saturday mornings in parks around the UK.

Charlotte made her London marathon debut on Sunday, raising vital funds for national charity Royal Society for Blind Children (RSBC). She put in a stellar performance, crossing the finish line in 5h 45 minutes and raising £2,500 for a charity close to her heart.
