Why volunteer?

We couldn’t do what we do without people like you

Volunteers are at the heart of the services we offer to blind and partially sighted young people.

Whether it’s by acting as a mentor and a friend, or through providing vital behind-the-scenes support for one of our many services, you can make a real difference to the young people we work with.

Learn new skills and make your CV stand out

As well as being extremely rewarding, volunteering is a great way to show potential employers that you’re dedicated, motivated and hard-working.

You can learn new skills in everything from communication to first aid as an RSBC volunteer, all of which can help make your CV stand out from the crowd.

We have volunteering roles to suit all levels of experience, and for however much time you’ve got to spare.

See our list of current volunteer opportunities to find out more or have a look at our volunteer resources. You can also register your interest using our online form below or get in touch with our friendly team on 020 3198 0225 or by email on volunteers@rsbc.org.uk.
