18-25 Social and Independence Groups
Are you looking for ways to become more independent?
RSBC’s Social and Independence Groups are a great way for you to expand your social circle and build the independence and confidence to go out on your own.
Through group activities such as cooking classes, outdoor activity days and leadership workshops, you’ll get to make new friends, try new things and build your independence. You’ll also have the chance to access specialist financial support and advice from our experts.
Then use your new independent skills to explore and experience all that London has to offer.
"You have to get out there and believe you can do it. You’re told you can’t do it because you can’t see, but when you come here you’re told ‘Yes, you can.’ Anything is possible for you. You can definitely achieve it."
Wasilat, 21
From the sessions you’ll be able to gain accredited outcomes in subjects such as cookery. There’s also a chance to achieve a qualification in leadership by taking part in our residential weekend. Qualified coaches lead skills based workshops before giving you the chance to go and put those skills into practice through team building activities.
