Running for RSBC

The London Marathon 2025 saw 56,000 runners take to the streets of London to challenge themselves and raise money for a huge range of good causes. And amongst the thousands who took part were 68 athletes who were supporting RSBC.

From parents of children with vision impairment running their very first marathon to corporate supporters and seasoned runners looking for a new challenge, Team RSBC pounded the streets from Blackheath to Buckingham Palace, taking in iconic locations across the capital including the Cutty Sark, Tower Bridge and The Mall. They’d trained throughout a dark and dank winter, and that truly showed their commitment to completing this incredible challenge.

On the day, the sun came out and the temperature reached 21 degrees in central London. RSBC colleagues and supporters manned the cheer stations at Mile 17 and Mile 23 – Lower Thames Street, just outside our Life Without Limits Centre in the City of London – and made a whole lot of noise as each of our runners passed! We hope that get them the extra push they needed to get round the course and collect their very well-deserved medals.

Huge thanks – and congratulations – go to every one of Team RSBC at this year’s Marathon. You completed an amazing challenge, and we hope that you’re now resting those sore muscles and wearing your medal with well-deserved pride!
