Fundraising at your school

By partnering with RSBC at your school, you’ll be helping us support children and young people with a vision impairment (VI), as well as their families.

Your efforts will make a real difference by helping to fund our wide range of services and enabling us to create a more inclusive future for blind and partially sighted children and young people.

Educational resources

Register your interest now to receive an RSBC created 3-stage lesson plan.

This lesson plan has been created to support you in teaching your students about the different forms of VI and the effect this can have on the lives of young people.

1. Lesson plan 1 - What is a vision impairment?

2. Lesson Plan 2 - Understanding life with a vision impairment

3. Lesson Plan 3 – How RSBC supports children and young people with vision impairments

The plan provides information which will help students understand what VI is, explore real-life impacts, and learn about support systems for blind and partially sighted young people. This structure helps build student knowledge and empathy, step-by-step, and challenges stereotypes and misconceptions for more informed, accepting classroom cultures.

To register your interest and receive this 3 stage lesson plan, please fill out the form below.
