Have you thought about asking for donations instead of gifts your birthday or other special occasion?
An easy way you can support RSBC is through a birthday fundraiser via Facebook. This will reach all your friends and family easily and 100% of what you raise will go to RSBC.
You access Fundraisers on Facebook through the App or desktop.
- App – select ‘community resources’ and then select ‘fundraisers.’
- Desktop – select ‘fundraisers’ from the menu bar
Then select ‘raise money’ and ‘charity’ and type Royal Society for Blind Children (RSBC) as your chosen charity.
Add the details of what you want to do
- Your target
- Length of fundraiser
- Why you’ve created a fundraiser
- Add a cover photo and name
Once you’ve created your fundraiser by confirming the info you can start inviting your friends and family to donate and share your fundraiser in your News Feed.
