Her Late Majesty The Queen was the Royal Patron of the Royal Society for Blind Children (charity number 307892).
The photo shows HM The Queen’s visit to open the Dorton House School building. Dorton House School closed in 2013 but the Society continues to provide education for vision impaired 16-25 year olds at Dorton College. You can read more about RSBC’s Dorton College today here.
