RSBC welcomes Georgie Morrell as an ambassador

Writer, award nominated actor and comedian Georgie Morrell has come on board as one of our fantastic ambassadors. This exciting news comes as the thirty-one year old reaches the end of her run at The Bunker Theatre in London where she has been starring in the 4**** play Libby’s Eyes, which was part of the theatre's Break Out season. Georgie is brimming with energy and creativity and although she has a packed schedule, she wants to do all she can to support our young people and their families.

Georgie has been seen and heard on BBC iPlayer, BBC Radio 5 Live, BBC Radio 4 and Channel 5. She has performed at the Edinburgh Fringe, Brighton Fringe and Soho Theatre in London.

Georgie was diagnosed with a visual impairment at the age of three, so she has a great insight into the challenges our beneficiaries face. So, not only does Georgie bring humour, energy and a willingness to support, but she offers a personal connection to the cause that will prove invaluable. Watch this space for future collaborations with this rising star of stage, TV and radio!

Georgie says, “It’s an incredible privilege to be an ambassador for the RSBC. I look forward to working with the young people and their families who the charity support and guiding them on their journeys."

Georgie will be taking to the stage to perform A Poke in the Eye at the Great Yorkshire Fringe on July 22nd, and at Carlisle Fringe on 24th August.
