RSBC young people become entrepreneurs!
Well done to our young people who took part in the NatWest Enabling Entrepreneurs Programme over the past 12 months, taking on an amazing challenge and opportunity. The young people worked in small groups, with one to one coaching, individual project work and support from external mentors to develop 10 experiential business ideas. Of these 10 business ideas, 5 have gone to market and one more is getting ready to launch, exceeding the expectation of our funders.
On June 24th four of our young entrepreneurs presented their business plans and pitches to a panel including expert business advisors and RSBC’s own Director of Philanthropy, Shalni Sood. Each of these finalists was successful in securing an award of £1,000 or more from NatWest’s Skills and Opportunities Fund to invest in their business.
